I really like the color combination of the flowers and entrance decor.

Good Ol' Little Rock

To me, all of Little Rock has a down home feel, no matter how modernized it gets...This is a typical scene...

Nativity Scene

My family and I were driving along passed the capitol when I noticed it all lit up with lights all over. Then we saw this Nativity Scene. Beautiful right?! I have a few other pictures that I'm going to post over at my photoblog since daily photo is all about one photo a day:).

Famous Dave's

My family had a big dinner here this past weekend. It's a pretty popular restaurant in West Little Rock with really good barbecue and other southern cookin' foods. There's a whole theme of fishing throughout the restaurant. I captured the wall above your table right before we headed out.

The 11 o'clock Train to Chicago

To me, this train is a major part of Little Rock life. Most people from Little Rock have relatives up North in Chicago, Indiana, etc. Most of them don't fly and the bus ride is just way too long. The train is the way to go:).

EJ's on 6th Street

I finally have a new camera, yay!! I'm hoping this means more pictures, more often:).

This is on the corner of 6th around the street from Lulav, a unique, beautifully designed eatery in downtown LR. Charming right?

Let's Dance!

This studio has had a long history here in Little Rock. It used to be named the Ballroom Company and most recreational dancers in the city have at least heard of it. I teach private dance lessons in salsa and the occasional group class. It's come to be a favorite place of mine:).

In other news, finally getting a new camera - hopefully tonight! Yay!

One of LIttle Rock's Weeping Willows

This is also on JA Fair's campus. They are so lucky to have a Weeping Willow. I wonder how many students appreciate it;).

J.A. Fair High School

My first Little Rock Daily Photo! I'm so excited to be starting again:). When I moved, I also lost my camera and the one I have now isn't nearly as advanced as the one I was using for Chapel Hill Daily Photo. And can you believe I let that stop me?:). Everytime I look at City Daily Photo though, I'm reinspired and yesterday, I said what the hey..simple camera or not, I'm going to start taking pictures of this cool little city:).

I teach a dance class at this high school twice a week. JA Fair has a mixed reputation these days but the teachers in this program for instance are really trying to restore the school to it's old glory of academic excellence. Yay for them:).

I took this picture just as I was about to leave for the evening. THat bus is one of three that take the students home after the program is over. Sweet huh? :).
